Our Mission Statement
The Mission of Saint Matthew African Methodist Episcopal Church is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional, and environmental needs of all people by spreading Christ's liberating gospel through word and deed. At every level in our Church, we shall continue to engage in carrying out the spirit of the Founders of the A.M.E. Church: that is to seek out and save the lost, and serve the needy through our ministries of preaching the gospel, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, housing the homeless, lifting the fallen, helping with jobs for the jobless, administering to the needs of all as we can, and encouraging people to seek economic advancement.
